The Golden State Warriors recently defeated the Washington Wizards to achieve their 21st victory of the 2024-25 NBA regular season. However, the match also brought a significant setback for the team, as their two superstars, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, both sustained injuries.
After just three minutes of play, Green left the game due to a calf injury, having missed three previous games for the same issue. In Green’s absence, Curry showcased his exceptional talent on the court. However, after playing for 35 minutes, Curry also had to exit the game due to an injury. With only one minute remaining, he twisted his left ankle in a collision with Jordan Poole. While fans were concerned about their superstar, Anthony Slater reported surprising news about Curry.
“Steph Curry’s brief postgame quote while icing up: “Feels great. See you on Monday.” Warriors vs Celtics on TNT on Monday,” Slater wrote in his recent post on X (formerly Twitter).
