When James Harden went down in the 1st quarter of Game 2, many fans took to social media and accused him of flopping of trying to get a call.
It wasn’t until head coach Mike D’Antoni stated he was bleeding from the eye that people started to believe it. It was even more believable when he came back to the game and his eyes were bloodshot red.
He traveled back to Houston to see an eye doctor and the first images revealed just how bad his eye was.
Despite the clear evidence that was raked in the eye by Draymond Green and the aftermath with clear visuals that his eye is not right, there are many players on the Warriors who still believe he is faking, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
There are some players in that (Warriors) locker room that are not buying the whole James Harden eye being extremely hurt thing. They were talking about some of the shots he was shooting during the game then when he goes to the free throw line and squinting like he can’t see.
