In the second quarter of Game 5, Kevin Durant went down to the ground, holding his right calf in a spot that has become all too familiar as he did the exact same thing when he played in his last game against the Houston Rockets.
The injury looked even worse in slow motion.
After the game, Warriors basketball of operations Bob Myers was visibly choked up as he fought back tears telling the media about Durant’s Achilles injury.
Durant could be seen making his exit from Scotiabank Arena on crutches and a walking boot before the game was over.
