When you raise your hand for a high-five, the worst thing that could possibly happen is to not receive a hand-slap in return from the person that it was intended for.
One Warriors fan felt that pain during Game 5 of the NBA Finals, and everybody saw it live on national television.
During the third quarter of Game 5, cameras caught an excited man in the stands say something to the woman next to him. Then he set up for a double high-five, only to be rejected in embarrassing fashion.
Once he was rejected, he just went right to clapping. He may have thought no one would notice, but that couldn’t have been further from the case.

Golden State bounced back from a third-quarter Boston run to take control of the fourth and register a 104-94 win, taking a 3-2 series lead over the Celtics. They did so with Curry failing to connect on a single 3-pointer.
Curry finished Game 5 with 16 points, eight assists and three rebounds while shooting 7 of 22 from the field and 0 for 9 from 3-point distance.
Prior to Monday, Curry played in 132 career playoff games while winning three NBA championships and making it to six NBA Finals. In each of those games, he connected on at least one 3-point shot.
