Game 2 of the NBA Finals is getting heated, as these two teams continue to get to know each other a little better.
The Golden State Warriors came out in Game 2 looking to send a message with their intensity and physicality following a shocking Game 1 loss to the Boston Celtics. Leading the way for the Warriors in the intensity department is Draymond Green, as usual.
Green has been mixing it up with a few Boston players so far. Late in the first half, it was Jaylen Brown’s turn, as the two mixed it up a bit following a defensive foul by Draymond on the Celtics’ guard.
Green already had one technical foul prior to that play. So a second would have earned him an ejection from the game. Thankfully, the officials reviewed the altercation and decided to leave it as simply a defensive foul on the Warriors’ power forward, and nothing more.
The Warriors carried a 52-50 lead into the half.
