NBA fans have surely come to appreciate the strong bond that LeBron James and Stephen Curry developed during their journey leading Team USA to a fifth consecutive gold medal. Despite initial tensions early in their career, where James’ camp reportedly held grudges over Curry’s rising popularity, the duo silenced critics by forming a strong on-court and off-court relationship.
Recently, a video of LeBron James predicting Curry’s bright future in the NBA went viral. In the video, James is seen riding in his car and sharing his thoughts on a young Stephen Curry’s potential in the league.
“You know, he is the son of a former NBA player, Dale Curry. He was taught well how to play the game of basketball. He has the talent. He’s good. I was impressed,” James said.
James’ prediction didn’t just come true; it exceeded expectations. Since joining the Golden State Warriors, Curry has proven himself to be one of the greatest players in NBA history. He has won four NBA titles, earned two NBA scoring championships, and been named an NBA All-Star ten times.
Stephen and Ayesha Curry’s New Documentary Sentenced Tackles Childhood Illiteracy
With the NBA season still a while away, Stephen Curry is turning his focus to an important off-court project. The Warriors star and his wife, Ayesha Curry, are working on a new documentary titled Sentenced.
“Nothing is more foundational or more important to a child’s success in life than the ability to learn and love to read. When that is missing, you take away the opportunity for an individual to meet their full potential, which is what is displayed in Sentenced,” Curry and Ayesha said in a statement.

“We’re grateful for the group of filmmakers and activists involved in this film who share a common goal of promoting literacy and changing these outcomes and inequities that exist,” they added.
Through Sentenced, the Currys hope to bring attention to the critical literacy issue. The documentary will highlight childhood illiteracy through personal stories.
