The Golden State Warriors suffered their fourth consecutive loss on Saturday night, falling to the Phoenix Suns 113-105. This game marked the return of Stephen Curry, who had missed the previous matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to a minor knee injury.
Curry’s injury, identified as bilateral knee tendinitis, is something the star guard has never dealt with before. During an interview with Anthony Slater, Curry opened up about his concerns and how he is managing the condition.
“I feel good, and I had a rough start. I had to play better in the first half, get myself going. I’m just kind of testing it out, seeing how they respond with a little break, but it was good all the way through. So when you miss a little bit, I mean, I was on one game; the juices started flowing second half,” Curry said after their loss to Phoenix.

“Trying to get a protocol to kind of stick with on a day-to-day and knowing that’s something I can get ahead of and not chase throughout the year, which is the plan. So I’m not worried about it, not concerned about it at all,” he added.
Stephen Curry Addresses Limited Minutes Amid Warriors’ Struggles
After the Warriors’ loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Warriors fans were mad at Steve Kerr for Stephen Curry’s limited court time. During his interview with Anthony Slater, Stephen Curry addressed the concerns surrounding his court time.
“Every player wants to play one minute, including myself. I think I can; I know I can, but you try to figure out a way to take advantage of the minutes. We only have so many guys, and when you’re winning, it’s fun. When you’re not, questions pop up. That’s how the league goes. We have to respond as a team. It’s not just about how many minutes I’m playing. It’s how do we get everybody in unison?” Curry said.

With their latest loss against Phoenix, the Warriors’ season record is 12-7. The Warriors are placed fourth in the Western Conference standings and will face the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday.
