The Golden State Warriors were desperate for a big win. Coming into the season, Steve Kerr and co. had big dreams for the team. Unfortunately, the GSW could not do justice to its high-profile reputation. After several losses, the Warriors were finally able to clinch a dominating victory. Facing off against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Warriors won 114-106.
And as expected, the star duo of Steph Curry and Draymond Green sealed the fate of Steve Kerr’s team. Curry took all the limelight, dropping 30 points with eight assists and four rebounds. Green, even though did not take as many points but secured the victory with a massive dunk.
Elated by his own play, Green went on to perform Steph Curry’s iconic ‘Night Night’ celebration. In a hilarious turn of events, head coach Steve Kerr commented on the celebration. And much to Green’s agony, he was not impressed. “He’s no Steph Curry, but it was a decent impersonation, and I appreciate the passion behind it,” said Kerr.

Steve Kerr Wanted To Keep Kevin Durant ‘Forever’
Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors were a super-hit love affair. While KD played only for three seasons, his time with the GSW was one of the golden eras of the team. Reflecting back on the time, Kerr wished he could keep Durant forever. “I love coaching Kevin. Um, he was amazing… We would’ve loved to have kept him forever, but it wasn’t meant to be,” Kerr reflected.
