Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is widely recognized as the greatest shooter in NBA history. He holds the record for the most three-point field goals made, a title he has held since December 14, 2021. As of now, Curry has made 3,832 three-pointers in his career, making him the all-time leader in this category.
Curry’s former teammate, Klay Thompson, is currently sixth on the all-time list with 2,549 three-pointers. He is closing in on overtaking Reggie Miller, who finished his career with 2,560 three-pointers. In a recent interview, Curry responded sarcastically upon learning that Thompson is approaching that milestone.
“Hold on. You said fifth?… It’s crazy because I passed Reggie three years ago and he was second and now he’s fifth.” Curry said (Via 97.5 The Game).

Stephen Curry Believes Thompson Is On Track To Break Into the All-Time Top Three For Threes
In addition to Stephen Curry, Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden also boasts exceptional three-point shooting skills. He currently ranks second on the all-time list for three-pointers made, with 3,010. Former NBA player Ray Allen is in third place, having made 2,973 three-pointers throughout his career. As Klay Thompson continues to rise on this list quickly, Curry believes that Thompson will reach the top three in the future.
“I don’t know the margin, but I’m sure he’ll be top three at some point. I think it’s only fitting that me, James [Harden], and Klay, at the end of our careers, are one, two, and three at some point. If that could happen, that would be beautiful.” Curry said.
