The situation in Dallas has reached a whole new level. First Patrick Dumont and now Mark Cuban, fans are blasting whoever they find from the Mavericks management. Cuban found himself at the center of a heated back and forth as he dropped a series of expletives aimed at disgruntled Mavericks fans. While they were protesting the trade of superstar Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, things turned nasty.
The outburst occurred during a recent Mavericks game, where Cuban, now a minority owner, was booed. He was heckled by fans who were passionately voicing their frustration over the decision led by GM Nico Harrison. However, it was obvious for someone to get agitated after being booed for so long. Cuban unhesitantly responded with a blunt and colorful retort directed toward the fans.
“Shut the f**k up and sit the f**k down,” cameras caught Cuban delivering an F-bomb towards someone in the stands.

Cuban’s outburst has exacerbated an already tense situation among Mavericks supporters. Many of them believe that such an impactful trade would never have happened under his leadership. Not only did Cuban make a name for himself as a steadfast protector of franchise legends like Dirk Nowitzki, but he also seemed to distance himself from the current decision-making process after selling majority control of the team last season.
Adding to his frustration, Cuban took to ESPN to clarify the context of his remarks. He admitted that he had attempted to intervene against the trade but was ultimately unable to stop it from happening. This disconnect between his intentions and the reality of the team’s direction has left fans questioning. They are wondering where his loyalties truly lie in an organization that he once ruled with an iron fist.
Mark Cuban Gets Fan Ejected For ‘Fire Nico’ Chants
While there was no stopping the fans who were not having it at the arena, the American Airlines Center turned into a royal rumble. The Mavericks fans made their frustrations known during a recent game against the Sacramento Kings. With the return of Luka Doncic to Los Angeles igniting controversy and discord among fans, one fan in particular, Chris Taylor, was ejected for participating in “fire Nico” chants.

He openly blasted General Manager Nico Harrison and wanted him fired. This event unfolded after the Mavericks’ disappointing performance. Their lackluster efforts ended in a narrow loss, which only heightened the dissatisfaction among the home crowd.
Despite his attempts to adhere to the league’s Code of Conduct, Taylor felt compelled to express his dissatisfaction during a critical point in the game. Responding to his chants, Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban took exception and instructed him to sit down. The encounter ended in an ejection, with Taylor claiming he was merely voicing his opinion while still cheering for the team most of the time.
