Ja Morant led the Memphis Grizzlies to a stellar 127-121 victory over the defending champion Boston Celtics on Saturday. It pushed their record to 16-8 for the season.
Morant’s dominant performance was a key factor in the win, as he showcased his incredible skills against the Celtics’ star players. One of the highlights of the game came in the third quarter when Morant pulled off a jaw-dropping reverse dunk between two Celtics defenders, Derrick White and Kristaps Porzingis.

As Morant charged toward the hoop, Porzingis and White quickly moved in to challenge him. However, the Grizzlies star showed an incredible display of athleticism. Morant stunned all by adjusting in mid-air with a double clutch and effortlessly slammed home a spectacular reverse dunk.
After serving a suspension that limited him to just 9 games last season, Morant made a strong return to the court, providing a much-needed boost for the Grizzlies. However, the star guard again fell prey to a hip injury. Due to injury, he only played 11 games this season.

However, despite his incredible dunk, Morant had recently downplayed his intention to dunk in an earlier game. After a tough 121-116 road loss to the Dallas Mavericks, Morant explained, “I’m not trying to dunk at all.”
This statement became a point of humor for fans, who couldn’t resist poking fun at the Grizzlies’ star after his gravity-defying move against the Celtics.
