Scottie Barnes saw the opportunity and took it. The Toronto Raptors shooting guard was on cloud nine when playing against the Brooklyn Nets. He got into the party mood when the Raptors were tied at 76-74 with the Nets.
Barnes led the team to a 130-113 victory over the Nets and snapped an 11-game losing streak. He was absolutely electric as he racked up 33 points and pulled down 13 rebounds, proving that he’s the go-to guy this team desperately needs. He got support from Immanuel Quickley, who just hit the court after missing 22 games with an elbow injury.
It was only in the third quarter when there were 08:02 minutes still left on the clock, that Barnes got things in his hands. The Florida-born star made some steps on the right and then some on the left before sinking in an absolute three-pointer. And to add up to that, he did a crazy dance move. You can imagine the savageness of the tactic as he danced right before the Nets bench on the sidelines.
NO WAY Scottie Barnes did this in a real NBA game

The game had its moments, starting with Brooklyn taking the lead early and finishing the first quarter at 33-26. But the Raptors weren’t about to roll over. They fought back and took a narrow lead before halftime. Toronto shot an impressive 55.1% from the field in the first half. As the game wore on, the Raptors took control, with a 10-4 run in the fourth that pushed their lead to 15 points.
Scottie Barnes Leaves Fans In Stitches After His Dance Moves
This will be a new start for every team who are reaccessing their roster. And the Toronto Raptors are not different. As gear up for the 2025 season, Scottie Barnes along with few other players have to step up. He is a unique part of the team’s young core and the Raptors couldn’t ignore it.

Despite being an entertainer on the court, Barnes struggled last season, particularly as a half-court scorer. He regressed to shooting just 26.6% from beyond the arc. If he can work on his efficiency and become a more reliable scoring option, it would not only lighten the load for teammates like RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley but also help scrounge out wins from close games.
