Jalen Green and co. had a fantastic outing lately as they led the Houston Rockets to a 128-108 victory against the Denver Nuggets. However, despite the victory, things didn’t go quite smoothly for Jalen Green. While he came face to face with Russell Westbrook, it was the latter who reigned supreme at the Ball Arena in Denver.
It all started with just 24 seconds remaining during the third quarter. Apparently, the trash talking was instigated by Green, which then took a serious turn as Westbrook did not take it lightly. Taking a wild verbal swat at Green, the former NBA MVP had some harsh words for the Rockets’ star.
“God damn boy. He used to play on my AAU team talking to me like I’m a little ass kid,” said Westbrook.

Meanwhile, in the match, Westbrook had a decent outing, dropping 17 points. He also had two assists and four rebounds to make a strong case for the Nuggets. Unfortunately, with star prospect Nikola Jokic out of action, the efforts were not enough. Jalen Green, on the other hand, trumped the scoring battle, too, with a solid 34 points on the night. Meanwhile, this was not the only incident in which Westbrook got involved in a verbal confrontation.
Russell Westbrook Had A Bad Fall Out With Isaiah Stewart
Back in December 2024, the Denver Nuggets triumphed over the Detroit Pistons 134-121. However, overshadowing the victory was an on-court altercation between Isaiah Stewart and Russell Westbrook. The incident sparked off with Westbrook repeatedly addressing Stewart as “Dumba**.”
Frustrated at the chant, Stewart too, didn’t hold back and lashed out with a fiery response. “I’ll beat the f**k out of you. B*tch a**n****,” said Stewart.

Fortunately for Westbrook, the night ended quite in his favor. On top of winning the game, the former NBA MVP also dropped eight points with eight assists on the night. Thus, having a knack for getting involved on court, it remains to see how things pan out for Russell Westbrook in the future.
