A recent clip has grabbed the attention of NBA fans where Bronny James is spotted being teased by a man sitting at the courtside. The face looked familiar to those who belong to the basketball gaming community. The person was none other than Ronnie 2K, the man behind the NBA 2k video game.
Ronnie Singh was present at the Arena on Friday when the Lakers were playing the Rockets in the Summer League game. At one point, when Bronny was looking at one particular attendee, the camera panned towards that direction.
The digital marketing director attracted Bronny’s eyes by pointing towards an NBA 2K25 card in his hand. In case you were wondering, the card has the young point guard’s rating for the game’s next edition.
However, the numbers were not revealed as they can only be discovered when the game is released on September 6.
Being a part of the league, Bronny will also have his version for the first time in the video game. The 19-year-old must have been thrilled to see Singh there. However, it wasn’t showing on his face as he was disappointed after failing to secure a win for the Purple and Gold yet again.

Bronny was spotted struggling with his shooting skills against the Rockets throughout the game. Despite trying hard from behind the arc, the Lakers No. 9 couldn’t hit a single shot on the target. By the end of the night, he finished with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals in the 99-80 defeat.
Bronny’s 3-of-14 shooting even upset Lakers GM Rob Pelinka. However, he still has shown faith in the franchise’s 55th draft pick.
The LeBron fans were eager to see the father-son duo smashing buckets, but the chances of that look slimmer with each passing day.
