NBA legend LeBron James’ eldest son, Bronny James, has become one of the most anticipated prospects for the upcoming NBA Draft. As Bronny continues this draft, he has gained significant media attention and recently received praise from Los Angeles Clippers legend Paul George.
Paul George expressed his admiration for Bronny on his podcast, particularly highlighting his basketball IQ.
“What’s most impressive is just his basketball savviness, like his basketball IQ. He can do it all. I feel like he hasn’t shown that he can really be elite at a lot of things, but I think he can be elite at a lot of things,” George said.
George even compared Bronny to notable NBA players like Jrue Holiday and Derrick White.
“I compare him to like the Jrue Holiday, the Derrick Whites, guys that are glue guys that can go do everything on the floor and help you win. He doesn’t need to be a star,” George added.
Bronny’s collegiate career at USC was challenging, especially after suffering a cardiac arrest. Despite this setback, he managed to average 4.8 points per game and shoot 36.6% from the field and 26.7% from three-point range.

Rich Paul’s Stance in Bronny James’ NBA Draft
Most of Bronny James’ playing time at USC came off the bench, but his potential and basketball intelligence have kept him in the spotlight. Many believe that being the son of NBA legend LeBron James has significantly boosted his draft stock.
Hence, there has been a prevailing notion that LeBron James would favor whichever team drafts his son, Bronny. However, Bronny’s agent, Rich Paul, put this idea to rest. Paul clarified that Bronny should be treated like any other player in the draft.
“Bronny is the same as my previous clients. I got the word out early to teams that if you plan on bringing Bronny in, here’s what you need to know: If you won’t give him a real deal, there’s nothing to talk about. It’s hard to get real development on a two-way deal,” Paul said.
The first round of this year’s NBA draft will occur on June 26, followed by the second round on June 27.
