The Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks have a storied rivalry. The Sixers star, Joel Embiid, has long been known for his playful antagonism towards Knicks fans, as he often embraces his villainous reputation among them.
Recently, Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart appeared on the Roommates Show in Central Park. During the event, a video went viral showing a passionate crowd chanting, “F*ck Embiid,” in what seemed to be a spirited expression of their dislike for the Sixers star.
Despite the antagonistic nature of the chant, Hart appeared to enjoy the crowd’s energy. In the video, he can be seen hyping up the mob with enthusiastic gestures, clearly feeding off their excitement.
Kevin Garnett Highlights Joel Embiid as Top Eastern Conference Player
Recently, on the show “All The Smoke,” Kevin Garnett was asked whether he believes Giannis Antetokounmpo will be the top player in the Eastern Conference for the upcoming NBA season. However, Garnett spotlighted Joel Embiid, expressing his candid view.
“You can’t say that with Embiid over there,” Garnett said.
“I would not argue against Embiid or against Tatum. [Giannis] probably like the fourth-best player [in the East],” he added.

Moreover, Embiid is coming off a season averaging 34.7 points, 11.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists. Unfortunately, his momentum quickly faded. The Sixers star’s season was interrupted when he sustained a knee injury during a game against the Golden State Warriors.
With his athleticism, Embiid is anticipated to drive the Sixers toward being a title contender in the upcoming season, especially given his enthusiasm about Paul George joining the team.
