As the new 2024-25 season approaches, Netflix is giving NBA fans a chance to relive the excitement of last season. The streaming platform is set to release a behind-the-scenes docuseries called Starting 5, which offers an exclusive look into the lives of several NBA stars during the 2023–24 season.
The docuseries will showcase exclusive footage captured throughout the season and feature prominent NBA stars such as LeBron James, Domantas Sabonis, Jayson Tatum, Anthony Edwards, and Jimmy Butler. Netflix recently released the trailer for the upcoming show.
Directed by Susan Ansman, Trishtan Williams, and Peter J. Scalettar, the series is executive produced by Maverick Carter, Jamal Henderson, Philip Byron, and Randy Mims. Unlike other series that release weekly episodes, Starting 5 will drop all at once.
How Many Episodes Will Be in the Starting 5 Docuseries?
Starting 5 docuseries is expected to give NBA fans an intimate look at the ups and downs of their favorite stars during a memorable season. The Starting 5 docuseries will consist of 10 episodes as part of the larger 10-part documentary series.
