Just when you thought Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer couldn’t do anything cooler with the team’s new arena.
The passionate Los Angeles Clippers owner couldn’t have been more excited when he announced that the team’s new arena, the Intuit Dome, would have more than 1,100 toilets to accommodate spectators.
And Ballmer, being the tech-savvy former CEO of Microsoft, is making things awfully convenient for Clippers fans by adding phone charging ports to each stadium in the Intuit Dome.
But Steve Ballmer isn’t stopping there when it comes to giving Los Angeles Clippers fans the best possible gameday experience.
On Friday, Ballmer revealed that the gigantic Halo Board inside the arena will feature cannons that shoot out t-shirts, thereby making sure that everyone one attendance will have a chance at winning the popular “t-shirt toss”:

The Clippers played in Crypto.com Arena (previously known as the Staples Center) from 1999 to 2024. But after sharing the venue with the Los Angeles Lakers for a quarter-century, the Clippers are about to move into a new arena they’ll have all to themselves.
Last season, the Clippers finished 51-31 but were eliminated by Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks in the opening round of the playoffs.
Los Angeles Clippers Will Look Different In 2024-25
The Clippers were given a tough blow in free agency when perennial All-Star Paul George left to join the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency. Ballmer even admitted that “on a personal level”, he “hated” seeing George leave to sign with the 76ers, per ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk.
Los Angeles also moved on from former MVP and future Hall of Famer Russell Westbrook, who was traded to the Utah Jazz in a cap-saving move. The Jazz opted to buy out Westbrook, who will join the Denver Nuggets.
So it’ll be interesting to see how the Clippers look without Paul George. If Kawhi Leonard can stay healthy, they should have no problem at least returning to the postseason.
