Kyrie Irving led the Dallas Mavericks to a 106-98 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday with a stellar performance. Irving’s intense demeanor was evident throughout the game, as he engaged in some spirited trash talk with the Thunder’s Alex Caruso and Isaiah Joe.
The verbal exchange began during a play when Jaylin Williams attempted a drive to the basket and was fouled by P.J. Washington. Caruso stepped into the situation, which provoked Irving to respond instantly during the game.
“Bro, stop with all that extra sh*t,” Irving said.
Isaiah Joe then joined the conversation with a subtle jab at Irving, telling him, “Back the fck up.” Irving didn’t back down, retorting, “You’re not tough like that, n***.”
