The Brooklyn Nets suffered yet another defeat. But their last game against the Memphis Grizzlies sprung to life via a fiery trash-talking session. In a leaked audio on X, Dennis Schroder can be seen having a field day with Ja Morant and Taylor Jenkins. The incident took place when Ja Morant was substituted, with very little time left for the game to end.
As he was passing by the Nets’ bench, the Grizzlies star hurled a mouthful toward his opponents. This riled up the situation, and a heated conversation took place involving Dennis Schroder, Taylor Jenkins, and Morant. While Morant let go of his trash-talking, the verbal altercation continued between Schroder and Jenkins. “We busted that a** two times, f*** out of here with that s***,” Schroder allegedly started the confrontation.

Schroder: “ We busted that a** two times, f*ck out of here with that sh*t”
Jenkins: “You’re gonna let him f*cking talk to me like that?
Schroder: “I’ll talk to you just like that”
Jenkins: “F*ck you, mf!” pic.twitter.com/yHIsVFe4T7
Such a statement had Jenkins in shock. He quickly turned to the referee and asked if the officials would allow such cussing. This enraged Schroder further as he said, “I’ll talk to you just like that.” Finally, all the heated exchange seemed to have pinched a nerve. Jenkins, on his way back, lashed out at Schroder, saying, “That’s fring horses***, “F*** that s***, f*** you motherf*****.” Meanwhile, this is Dennis Schroder’s final season for the Nets. From the next season onwards, he will be a Warrior.
Draymond Green Drops A Truth Bomb About Dennis Schroder
The Golden State Warriors have recently acquired Dennis Schroder. With an impressive season for the Nets so far, Schroder is expected to fit into the Warriors’ dynamics pretty easily. After all, averaging 18.4 points, 6.6 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game is, in no way, bad numbers. However, there might be a problem for Schroder blending in with the likes of Steph Curry and Co.
In a recent post-game interaction, Draymond Green stated that Schroder is not accustomed to the brand of basketball that the Warriors play. Instead, it would be the Warriors who will be adjusting. “We need someone who can do the things he does. I’m looking forward to us adjusting to him,” Green stated. Thus, with a lot happening with Dennis Schroder, it remains to be seen how things pan out for him in the future.
