Anthony Edwards is quickly earning the reputation of being a trash talker on the NBA court. On several occasions recently, Edwards has been spotted talking trash either to hype up his mates or to get back at his opponents. The Timberwolves faced off against the Warriors in their recent match-up. Edwards donned his trash-talking avatar to engage in a heated exchange with Steph Curry.
In a recently uploaded clip on X by LegendZ, Edwards was spotted initially interacting with Jaden McDaniels. However, he soon turned his attention to Curry, who missed a shot just as timeout was being called. En route to their respective benches, Curry allegedly replied, “right back” when Edwards seemed to be celebrating. Such a mockery did not sit well with the Timberwolves star. “Shut up n****,” said the 23-year-old, allegedly lashing out at Curry.

Later on, after the game, Edwards spilled the beans on why Curry shouted ‘right back’ at him. It was because the two teams once again faced off on Sunday. The young NBA talent also accused the Warriors’ icon of talking trash a lot. Meanwhile, Steph Curry was not the only NBA star to have come in Edwards’ firing line. He also expressed his disappointment about a play from Luka Doncic.
Anthony Edwards Calls Out Luka Doncic After Carrying
In a recent game against the Los Angeles Clippers, Edwards was called for carrying the ball. Frustrated at the official, he lashed out at the referee and hurled a mouthful towards Luka Doncic.
“Luka Doncic do that s**t all f**king year, bro! Luka Doncic do it all game. Every time he dribble the ball, he do this [carrying motion] and they never call it,” said Edwards.
