The Minnesota Timberwolves recorded yet another loss this season. After succumbing to a 104-115 defeat to the Sacramento Kings, one instance had the crowds riled up. Julius Randle and Jae Crowder went toe to toe throughout the game. During one of their face-offs, the duo had a heated interaction that left Rane losing his temper on the latter.
At one point in the game, the Wolves star successfully executed a fadeaway jumper on Crowder. Soon after the play, Randle made a ‘too small’ gesture on Crowder. Later on, while waiting by the lane, Crowder and Randle seemed to exchange a mouthful. With the heat rising between the duo, Randle lashed out saying, “A’ight n***a, I can talk whenever I want to.”

“I talk to you every time we play… you know I do”
Crowder wasn’t trying to hear none of that, which led to Randle saying:
“Ight, n****! I can talk whenever I want to”
Lastly, Anthony Edwards said: “shut up, Jae” pic.twitter.com/T2v3vsmBG0
Looking at how the situation was escalating, Anthony Edwards jumped in and stated, “Shut up, Jae.” Well, this was not the only time Randle was involved in something controversial. Recently, the Wolves’ star was accused of having traveled with the ball during a three-peat shot.
Julius Randle Accused Of ‘Travelling’ By NBA
Julius Randle had a fantastic outing against the Phoenix Suns. He dropped 35 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds to see his team through. However, there was a huge controversy over one of his plays. With the score tied at 117, Randle delivered a fabulous 3-point shot that led the Timberwolves win by a score of 120-117. However, after the game, the NBA opined that Randle traveled with the ball. And thus, the point should have been deducted.
Fun stuff on the NBA’s Last 2 Minutes report. Says Julius Randle’s push-off on Josh Okogie was a correct no-call, but also that there was a missed travel on the final play by Randle.
