The Phoenix Suns registered a thrilling victory against the Golden State Warriors recently. While the win would certainly bolster the Suns’ confidence, the 105-113 loss will surely be a huge blow to the Warriors. Sadly, the Warriors’ problems don’t just end with them losing the game. The recent form of their star prospect, Draymond Green is surely the one to get concerned about.
After the match, Durant was asked about his assessment of Draymond Green’s play. “I don’t know who it was. It felt like he was in between guarding two guys, and I just popped for the 3,” said Durant, speaking about his former teammate. “When Draymond is at his best, it’s like a good balance between being ultra aggressive and being on edge and also just being a cerebral monster that he is. I think he’s found that balance even better. I feel like he always had it.”

In a particularly interesting clash, former teammates Green and Kevin Durant clashed during the game. However, while attempting a three-point shot, Green’s defense was questionable which led to Durant converting easily. Green seemed confused about who he was guarding. As Durant too looked a bit surprised after giving his team a 108-99 lead after his shot.
The easy takeaway here is…Draymond, wtf are you doing?!

But there's a couple of Suns trends this season that can at least explain the confusion Green is in, between staying as the low man & guarding KD. pic.twitter.com/LUKCeMsK1l
Durant also had a fantastic game as he finished with 21 points, 3 assists, and 10 rebounds. Meanwhile, this was not the only assessment that Durant made about Green. In his recent presser, Durant heaped a lot of praise on Green.
Kevin Durant Has Some Kind Words For Draymond Green
Kevin Durant might have exploited a rare miss from Draymond Green on the court. But that does not make the Suns’ star lose his respect for his former teammate. In fact, Durant believes that with all his experience accumulated, Green is playing the best game of his life this year.

“You can just tell by the start of this season that he’s playing his best ball. He’s shooting the basketball well this year… All his experiences up until this time have just helped him out and made him the player he is today,” Durant stated in the press conference.
Now, these are huge words of acknowledgment coming from Green’s teammate from the Warriors. Thus, with his former friend’s support, fans would wait to witness how Draymond Green will perform in the coming days.
