The Boston Celtics won Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers with a score of 105-102. With this win, the Pacers were eliminated from the Eastern Conference Finals, and the Celtics advanced to the NBA Finals. In a recent video uploaded by the Celtics on NBC Sports Boston, Kristaps Porzingis was seen holding an ECF trophy after the Celtics advanced to the NBA Finals. Porzingis, who was injured during the first-round series of playoffs against the Miami Heat, is still in the recovery phase. The 28-year-old Celtics player is facing a calf injury.
The best thing to do for Porzingis is to protect him from injuring himself more. His presence on both ends of the court adds fresh dimensions to the Celtics’ game. Upon his return, he will play an important position in their rotation. Porzingis, though, will undoubtedly be excited because he hasn’t played basketball in over a month. He will be under tremendous pressure to return to the NBA Finals, the world’s top basketball tournament. Kristaps Porzingis doesn’t have time to rest or restore his fitness. He has to be at his best right now for the Celtics.
