Edwards capped off the night by showing one of his best games so far. He finished with 33 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals, and four blocks. He notched his 14th 30-point game of the season, shooting 11-of-20 from the field.

After win on Wednesday, Anthony Edwards had a humorous take on his coach’s mindset leading up to the matchup. He suggested that Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch was intensely focused on winning, even in his sleep.
“I think he went to sleep last night with violence on his mind. You know how you go to sleep with something on your mind, and you hope when you wake up, and everything is [gone], I don’t think his sleep was good enough,” Edwards said while addressing the reporters.
