The Milwaukee Bucks are turning it around! In what looks like a fairytale run, the Bucks have now gone 12 wins and three losses in their last 15 games. This is an awe-inspiring performance considering the fact that the Bucks were looking entirely out of sorts in the first half. Continuing their winning streak, the Bucks recently secured a 110-102 victory over the Atlanta Hawks in the semis of the NBA Cup. This victory also secured them a spot in the finals of the NBA Cup.
And surely enough, one player who is significantly happy with the performance is Giannis Antetokounmpo. Speaking with TNT Sports, Antetokounmpo reflected on what went right for the Milwaukee-based side. “We figured out we have to compete as a team, move the ball as a team, compete together… We’ve changed our season around,” said the 2x NBA MVP.
"We've changed our season around, but we've gotta keep going"

However, he was also cautious. The 2021 NBA finals MVP warned that the job is not yet done. And as usual, Antetokounmpo was the star in their recent victory. He dropped 32 points, nine assists, and 14 rebounds to complete a five-star performance. Meanwhile, the NBA icon recently had a lot to say about the NBA media’s two-faced coverage.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Unhappy With NBA Media
Giannis Antetokounmpo has seen enough of the two-faced side of the NBA media. While he has been hyped as a star for most of his playing years, the 30-year-old has also experienced the extreme opposites. For example, at the beginning of the season, Antetokounmpo and the Bucks were going through a lean phase. Lashing out at the icon, the media quickly greeted him with words of disdain. They also pointed fingers at his play for his team’s poor run.
"We beat the team, like today 'Vegas baby the Bucks'… And the day you lose, 'They suck… Trade Giannis… He has blood [on] his hands. Nobody wants him'… Guys, yesterday I was the best player in the world."

Such a double-faced coverage did not sit well with the Bucks’ icon. Speaking on the same, the 30-year-old vented out his frustration on the ‘Thanalysis Show.’ “We beat the team, like today ‘Vegas baby the Bucks’… And the day you lose, ‘They suck… Trade Giannis…” said Antetokounmpo. Thus, turning around the tide, it remains to be seen whether Giannis Antetokounmpo can propel the Milwaukee Bucks to glory.
