The long-standing feud between former NBA stars Dwight Howard and Shaquille O’Neal continues to make headlines. What began as a dispute over a shared nickname has evolved into years of public jabs, with O’Neal often throwing shade at Howard. Howard has claimed that O’Neal blocked him on social media and even sent him “disrespectful” messages.
Recently, Shaq reignited the tension by referring to Howard as a “bus rider” when talking about Howard’s 2020 NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers. In response, Howard appeared on the GAUDS Show with Ray Daniels, where he opened up about his frustrations and revealed plans to confront O’Neal in person.
“The only thing I would do with Shaq is mimic his voice. But what else can I mimic him about? You continue to talk about me. I’m going to have to come to you. And it’s not violent. But it’s like, ‘Ay man, what the f**k?’. We got family; we got kids,” Howard said.
"Do we need to throw hands?"

“I was finna roll up to the studio and be like, ‘Yo, what’s the deal?’ We’re still going on with the pettiness; at what point does it stop? Do you have a real issue? Let’s move past it. Sit down and have a conversation,” he added.
Shaquille O’Neal Signals End Of Feud With Dwight Howard
Shaquille O’Neal appears to be signaling the end of his ongoing feud with Dwight Howard, though not in the way Howard may have hoped. Instead of sitting down for a mutual discussion, Shaq took to social media to air his thoughts. In a post on X, Shaq called out Howard, labeling him a “sensitive big man” who can’t handle jokes.
“the fact u think I care about u is funny, but I won’t ever bring your name up again sensitive big man, a jokester that can’t take a joke. Won’t ever say your name again ever again. Have a great day, and now u have been deleted. Have a great day,” Shaq wrote.

With Shaq making it clear he has no intention of discussing the matter further, it remains uncertain if the feud will truly come to an end. For now, the two basketball legends seem far from reconciling.
