After breaking a five-game losing streak against the Utah Jazz, the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. The game marked the return of Warriors forward Draymond Green, who had missed two games due to a left calf injury. While Green’s presence was a boost for the Warriors, his comeback marked a controversy.
In the second quarter, Green found himself at the center of a heated moment. During a layup attempt, Timberwolves star Julius Randle hit Green with an elbow, causing the Warriors veteran to fall to the ground.
Despite the physicality of the play, the referees chose not to call a foul. Green did not take the missed call lightly. He immediately voiced his frustration, screaming at the officials for their inaction.

Unfortunately for Green, his protests backfired. Instead of addressing the play, the referees issued him a technical foul. As tensions rose, Warriors star Stephen Curry stepped in to de-escalate the situation, pulling Green away from the officials to prevent further disciplinary action.
Draymond Green Defends LeBron James Amid “Father Time” Speculation
After recent struggles on the court, speculations have surfaced about whether “Father Time” is catching up to LeBron James. However, Draymond Green offered his perspective on the matter during an episode of The Draymond Green Show. Green acknowledged that age inevitably impacts every athlete but disagreed with the idea that LeBron is nearing the end of his dominance.
“Is Father Time catching up to him? Absolutely, because Father Time catches up to everyone. However, where I disagree is people are saying, ‘Oh, we just saw it. He’s done now; we’ve been waiting on it; now he’s done.’ No, no, no, I disagree with that. And the reason I disagree with that is because, quite frankly, what it looks like to me right now is he’s a little tired,” Green said.
