Paul George has made a high-profile move to the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason after an impressive run with the Los Angeles Clippers. The switch was influenced by financial advice from rapper Lil Dicky. While George has yet to make his debut for the Sixers, his new teammate Tyrese Maxey has reassured him of strong support from the team’s fanbase.
Despite the positive reception from his new team, Golden State Warriors Draymond Green has warned George of the high expectations he will face. In an interview with Jordan Schultz, Green warned of the dangers of letting George down.
“Good luck, Paul George. Aw, he better play well, or they’re going to crush Paul George if he doesn’t play well, oh my god,” Green said.
“You know why they’re gonna crush Paul George if he doesn’t play well there? Because they already got a nasty taste in their mouth from their last three (small forward) that they had with Tobias Harris. They never felt like he brought it, so that’s why,” he added.
