The 2024 Paris Olympics is yet to begin, but the excitement is already palpable, with the first exhibition match between the United States and Canada igniting the heat. The game has been nothing short of entertaining. With both teams packed with NBA talent, it promised a competitive matchup for Team USA. However, during the introduction of Team Canada, fans unexpectedly started booing Dillon Brooks.
The Houston Rockets star is competing for Canada to win gold. Brooks is primed to make an impression in the Olympics with his signature fearless remarks. But fans seem to have a lot of hatred for the 28-year-old swingman. His reputation certainly followed him to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Fans greeted him with loud boos during player introductions and every time he touched the ball.
Someone tried to explain the hate by writing in the video’s comments, “Ppl really don’t like brooks. I don’t think he’s a bad guy just a fierce competitor.”
“Bro is so used to it at this point.” said another fan.

LeBron James and Dillon Brooks Clash Again in Paris Olympic Exhibition Match
Old rivals LeBron James and Dillon Brooks brought their NBA fire to the international stage. Their fight continued during Wednesday’s exhibition game between Team USA and Canada. Even though they were serving their countries, things got worse in the first quarter.
Canada was ahead of Team USA 8-1 in the middle of the first quarter. While James had the ball, he collided with Brooks, who was trying to get it back after making an error. The confrontation turned physical between “The King” and the Rockets swingman. Brooks stayed calm, and he had a sly smile on his face.
