Everyone knows Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green knows that he has a reputation for trash-talking. One of the players who has experienced Green’s verbal jabs is Chicago Bulls star Lonzo Ball. Ball recently recalled an intense moment between him and Green on his podcast, ‘The WAE Show.’
“Draymond has said something to me. I was already in a mode, you know. When I tapped in, I had scored on somebody. I was like, too little type, and then Draymond like ‘You not like that?’ I’m like, you not like what? I was in a good rhythm at that time,” Ball recalled.
Green’s comment clearly struck a chord with Ball, who was already feeling confident and competitive during the game.
“I would say Draymond is probably the most as ever got to like. I don’t talk unless you’re going to talk to me,” he added.
Lonzo Ball Eyes Return to Court After Extended Injury Layoff
Lonzo Ball, to whom someone donated a body part to save his NBA career, was traded to the Chicago Bulls in a sign-and-trade deal in 2021. Unfortunately, since January 2022, he has faced significant challenges with his knee, which have kept him off the court. The 26-year-old Bulls star has undergone multiple surgeries, including a bone allograft to replace cartilage in his knee. Despite these setbacks, Ball is making progress in his recovery and remains optimistic about his return.

“I’ve been getting asked this question a lot. I’m still looking forward to playing the first game, man. My first real test, I feel, will be this August when I play 5-on-5 for the first time. You know, I’ll have a better update then, but so far so good,” Ball said in his show.
He is coming off a season averaging 13.0 points, 5.1 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. He also shot 42.3% from the field, 42.3% from three-point range, and 75.0% from the free-throw line.
