Fall down seven times, stand up eight. And Tyler Herro has taken this quote by heart. It was quite courageous of him to rub out that impactful blow from Amen Thompson, but he did. And what’s icing on the cake was his same outward reaction after finally winning the closely contested game.
An intense brawl erupted in the final minute of the game between the Miami Heat and the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center. The scuffle began innocuously enough, with Herro and Thompson bumping into each other while trying to set up for the inbound play. Tensions quickly escalated when Thompson slammed Herro to the ground. It then led to an all-out scuffle that involved nearly every player and member of the support staff on both sides.
However, the camera caught Herro having the last laugh on the whole matter, which seemed too intense at the beginning. The Heat star was seen poking the Rockets bench and savagely asking them to get off after losing the game. He was standing on the sidelines and taunting Thompson with a smirk as the Heat secured a 99-94 victory.
“Go home bro, you lost. You lost,” Herro said, as seen in the video below.

While Thompson gained admiration for his willingness to defend himself physically, it was Herro’s team that emerged the winner. The consequence of the brawl was a bit significant. Six players, including both Herro and Thompson, were ejected alongside the head and assistant coaches of the Rockets. And as per the current league trend, repercussions are likely to follow.

Tyler Herro Has High Aspirations For NBA All-Star
The Heat have been performing optimally well recently, and we know whom to give credit to. Herro has been getting things done even in Jimmy Butler’s absence. He is averaging a career-high 24 points per game in the regular season, which makes him enough to be in the NBA All-Star league.
Herro’s aspirations for an NBA All-Star selection have never been more tangible. The Miami Heat guard is continuously putting together a standout season that positions him among the elite in the Eastern Conference. He is in the same conversation alongside stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jalen Brunson, and Jayson Tatum.
After he scored 27 points and provided nine assists against the Houston Rockets in a recent performance, Herro expressed his desire to be recognized as an All-Star. “I would love to be an All-Star. That’s been my goal since I came into the league. We’ll see. I got to get votes. I’m definitely worthy, though,” Herro said.

Tyler currently ranks among the top shooters in the league. He is sitting fourth in 3-pointers made per game, with a commendable 41% accuracy from beyond the arc. Given the All-Star format, where the Eastern Conference can send up to six guards, Herro finds himself in a competitive field alongside Trae Young and Tyrese Haliburton.
