What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. But that can’t be said about Los Angeles. It can’t be said even more now that the city hosted the latest mega cross-over featuring Jimmy Butler, Brazilian soccer star Neymar Jr., and boxer Ryan Garcia.
Hustler Casino in LA hosted an event on Saturday, and the show’s star cast was billed as Legends on the Felt. According to Hustler, they were part of “the greatest event in poker history.” Alongside the aforementioned trio were Chris Eubank Jr., Jon Vlogs, Dan Bilzerian, and streamer Ninja.
The stars of the night were engaged in an intense poker battle, which was livestreamed on YouTube. At one point, Jimmy Butler and Ryan Garcia were locked in a 4-way All In with Jon Vlogs and Mister Keating. Garcia recently caused quite a stir by questioning Michael Jordan’s greatness. But there was no such trouble when he sat next to Jimmy Butler. The Heat star is again up to doing his side quests. However, his future in Miami is under significant threat.
What Is Next For Jimmy Butler?
Jimmy Butler expressed his desire to stay in Miami and was reportedly seeking a long-term extension. However, his age and recent injury troubles, which kept him from participating in the playoffs, have raised significant doubts. Heat supremo Pat Riley commented during the season exit press conference, “That’s a big decision on our part to commit those kinds of resources, unless you have somebody who’s going to be there and available every single night,” when asked about Butler’s contract situation.
Amid the rumbling, the Sixers emerged as a potential landing spot for Butler, who are willing to offer him a max contract. The Philly side was also interested in Paul George, but that has cooled down in the past few days.

Butler averaged 20.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5 assists this season in 60 appearances and can be a lethal force even at 34. But the big question dangling over his future is whether he can remain injury-free to deliver.
