The 2024-25 NBA season has featured many intense games right from the beginning. However, another significant issue has emerged in the new NBA season: referees have frequently missed crucial fouls in several games, which has affected the outcomes. One notable instance was Mason Plumlee’s last-minute foul on Anthony Davis, which went uncalled. More recently, referees also missed a foul committed by Shake Milton.
The Brooklyn Nets recently faced the Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center. As the game approached its climax, with less than five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, a crucial moment unfolded involving Nets guard Milton.
While maneuvering through the defense near the perimeter, Milton appeared to take several steps without dribbling the ball, clearly committing a traveling violation. This incident occurred right in front of the referee, yet no whistle was blown to signal the violation. The lack of a call in such a critical moment left both players and fans bewildered.

The Nets emerged victorious in a thrilling contest, finishing with a score of 108-103. However, had the referees made the critical call on Milton’s foul, the outcome could have been significantly different.
Milton Expresses Warm Wishes To The SMU Mustangs
Milton played college basketball for Southern Methodist University from 2015 to 2018, during which time he honed his skills. As a vital member of the SMU Mustangs, he significantly contributed to the team’s competitive spirit and success in various tournaments. Recently, the guard took the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for his college team.
“Mustang family, waddup? Fellas, congrats on the signing, excited for y’all to be here, be a part of it, we about to start and turn it up in Dallas. Welcome to the family. Pony up, man. Let’s go,” Milton said.

Despite Ben Simmons’s strong display of skills
