The Denver Nuggets did pick up an all-important victory against the Golden State Warriors. However, despite winning 119-115, the problems for the Nuggets have not yet been solved. Surprisingly, most of it revolves around the Nuggets’ star, Jamal Murray. While Murray being hunted down by other teams is a glaring issue, a recent reaction from Head Coach Michael Malone has raised concerns regarding Murray’s ongoing form.
In the match against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jamal Murray had quite a decent game. However, things did not go according to plan when Murray fumbled a pretty easy three-peat shot. The 27-year-old received a pass from his teammate with the basket wide open. Under such circumstances, a three-pointer looked like bread and butter for Murray’s caliber. Unfortunately, much to everyone’s surprise, Murray hurriedly made an attempt to score, sending the ball well wide of the rim.

Soon after the missed opportunity, the camera panned to Nuggets’ HC, Michael Malone. Although he did not have any reactions, his stone face clearly radiated the frustration within him. As a matter of fact, Malone has recently given Murray advice on how to tackle him being hunted down by his opponents. Meanwhile, Jamal Murray himself had a lot to say about his teammates after their loss against the Knicks.
Jamal Murray Emphasizes On Maintaining Focus
The Denver Nuggets are clearly suffering from lack of consistency. While they won against the mighty Lakers, Nikola Jokic and co. fell 145-118 to the New York Knicks recently. Expressing frustration at the loss, star prospect Jokic stated that it was high time the Nuggets tried to find a solution to their problems.
"It's a long season. Guys have lives outside of basketball. We just beat LA in LA. We've got some guys who live in LA, so stayed in LA… That's what happens when you don't have the focus."

But Jokic was not the only one angry in the Nuggets locker room. Jamal Murray, too, made his frustrations heard. Thus, with discontent growing constantly, it remains to be seen how the Denver Nuggets can cope with their issues and come back stronger.
