The Minnesota Timberwolves were humbled by Karl-Anthony Towns and co. on their homeground. While the Knicks dominated the game with a strong 133-107 victory, things are not looking good particularly in the Wolves’ dressing room. Things did not seem to sit well with Anthony Edwards especially. Infuriated by the loss, Edwards called out his teammates in a furious rant.
“We don’t have s**t on offense. We don’t have no identity. We know I’m gonna shoot a bunch of shots, we know Ju gonna shoot a bunch of shots and that’s all we know. We don’t really know anything else. It’s not on the coaches at all. It’s on us. We’re out there playing,” Edwards stated. Well, the Wolves’ star’s anger was justified. In their last ten games, the Timberwolves have lost on 4 occasions while winning 6.

After their current loss, the Timberwolves are currently holding a 14-12 win-loss record. Thus, if they do want to turn things around, they might as well take Edwards’ rant seriously. This was not the only time Anthony Edwards became angry with his teammates.
Anthony Edwards Got Mad At Rudy Gobert
Just a few days back, the Timberwolves faced off against the San Antonio Spurs. Having no difficulty whatsoever, Anthony Edwards and Co. secured a 106-92 victory. However, there was a little complaint about the team’s performance. Edwards seemed particularly angry at his teammate Rudy Gobert.

During a play, Gobert got the easiest chance to convert with just a few inches of the rim. To everyone’s surprise, Gobert fumbled as he missed out on an absolute dolly. Standing on the sidelines, Edwards seemed visibly frustrated as he held up his towel in anger. Thus, with things looking a tad bit tight for the Timberwolves, it remains to be seen how they can bounce back.
