In his letter, Griffin also added a pun at the end to add a little bit of humor. He initially teased a “next chapter” of his life but then immediately clarified that he was joking and that his retirement was the real deal. Blake last signed with the Boston Celtics for one year in 2023 under the veteran minimum salary, after which any team did not sign him.
