Vernon Maxwell, a two-time NBA champion, is now giving out some important advice to Kyrie Irving after a Boston Celtics fan threw a water bottle at him following a huge win at TD Garden on Sunday.
“It’s just a bottled water right? If you feel disrespected then do something about it or it will keep on happening. Guess how many times a fan made a comment about my stillborn daughter? It cost me some money & a suspension but I sleep fine every night knowing I stood up for her.”
Vernon Maxwell infamously walked into the stands at Portland and punched a fan square in the face back in 1995.
Maxwell was suspended for at least 10 games and fined $20,000 by the NBA for going into the stands and punching a heckler during a game at Portland.
