Utah Jazz vs. Dallas Mavericks: Prediction
The Jazz aren’t exactly locking teams down this season, giving up a whopping 119.2 points a game—yeah, not great. But their offense has been a bit better, putting up 109.4 points on average. They’re pretty solid on the boards, though, ranking fifth in keeping opponents’ rebounds to 42.2 per game and grabbing 44.2 themselves, landing them 12th overall. When it comes to threes, they’re hitting 12.8 a game, but the accuracy? Just 34.7%, which puts them way down at 21st.
The Mavericks have been more effective on both ends of the floor. Offensively, they score 117.5 points per game, ranking seventh in the league, while their defense is more middle-of-the-pack, allowing 111.3 points. The Mavericks are strong on the glass, pulling down 45.4 rebounds per game, which is eighth in the NBA, and they give up 43.9 rebounds, ranking 19th. Dallas also makes 12.4 three-pointers per game and shoots 35.6% from deep, putting them in the middle of the league for both categories.
