Former Miami Heat star Udonis Haslem has once again come forward to tell stories from his days as a professional player in the NBA. This time Haslem has named a player who mattered to him more than the Lebron James.
Haslem has been an avid speaker recently ever since he started his podcast. He has frequently issued statements that have stirred up the NBA community. He once called out Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to solve the animosity between the Celtics duo and himself.

Udonis Haslem makes sense of his LeBron James claim
Udonis Haslem has played most of his career at the Miami Heat. He has been a part of the franchise for a long time. He played a crucial part in the Heat’s championship runs from 2010-14 during which they went to the NBA finals four times, winning it two times. LeBron James was at the center of each championship run and was treated as the most valuable player in the franchise.
However, in a recent episode of his “The OG’s Podcast,” Haslem revealed the name of a player who mattered to him more than the “Chosen One” LeBron himself. “If Bron went down, we could bring in D-Wade, it is not the same player, but you are gonna get similar results. We could not simulate it. We did not have another CB (Chris Bosh). If he went down and got hurt, we did not have another one of him,” said Udonis. He revealed that Bron could be replaced with Dwyane Wade if he got injured or was not available. However, the same could not be said about Chris Bosh, the role he played for the franchise was very hard to replace.
Jeff Teague goes off on LeBron’s Heat move
When LeBron James moved to the Miami Heat from the Cleaveland Cavaliers, his decision was met with a lot of pushback from the loyal Cavs fans. Most of the NBA community joined them and was against the move as the Heat was about to form one of the first superteams the league had ever seen. The big 3 LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh were surrounded by a lot of controversies and many players despised them.

Former Indiana Pacers guard Jeff Teague was one of them. Teague recently appeared on The OG’s Podcast and shared his thoughts on the formation of the Big 3. “Y’all team was cheating, though,” Teague told Haslem while discussing Miami’s rivalry with the Indiana Pacers. “Let us keep this real. I remember it when Bron came to Miami. Everyone was like, ‘This s**t’s weak.’ I am not gonna lie. I do not give a f**k. I was in the third year and I was like, ‘I do not care. I just want to hoop. I am trying to get paid,” said Teague while discussing the Pacers-Heat rivalry with Haslem.
