Josh Hart is still upset about the playoff defeat by Tyrese Haliburton and his Indiana Pacers team. So he decided to continue his fight with the Pacers guard off the court, which was better than social media.
After Haliburton shared a few snaps and a video on his post, the on-court rivalry was renewed on Instagram. The point guard captioned the post as, “end of chapter 4📙,” referencing the four seasons he has had in the league.
Taking a dig at Haliburton’s different outfits throughout the season, the NY Knicks forward commented, “Started and ended with trash fits.” This comment received many reactions from fans and even grabbed Haliburton’s attention, who replied, “You became an analyst after playing us.” Hart placed the final nail in the coffin by writing, “And somehow we both won the same amount of games.”
The Pacers had a good run in the playoffs. After beating the Milwaukee Bucks in a 4-2 first-round series, they faced the Knicks in the second round. After a tough fight in seven games, the series ended 4-3 in favor of the Indiana franchise.
They swept the Knicks and qualified for the Eastern Conference Finals but couldn’t win a single game against the mighty Boston Celtics. Haliburton missed most of the games in the series due to his injury.
Hart wasn’t wrong to state that both their teams had the same number of wins (8 each) in the post-season tournament. Following the Knicks’ elimination, he took up the role of a guest analyst in the 2024 NBA Finals.

Many would feel that Hart started the jab from this exchange, but Haliburton did not refrain from trolling the New York side after sweeping them off from the tournament.
Tyrese Haliburton Trolled Knicks With Special Wardrobe
Following the Pacers’ playoff series win over the Knicks, Tyrese Haliburton played it dirty by wearing a sweatshirt featuring the franchise’s legend, Reggie Miller. The outfit featured the former player’s popular choking pose.
The incident took place in the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals when the Miller-led Pacers faced the Knicks in Game 5. After winning the game, the 5-time All-Star posed at movie director Spike Lee, a famous Knicks fan. In that series, the New Yorkers came out as the winners.
Following his second impressive season, Tyrese Haliburton would suit up in the Indiana colors for the upcoming season.
