The Miami Heat star Tyler Herro played a crucial role in securing a victory for his side. Facing off against the Houston Rockets, a thrilling game came to a close with the score reading 104-100 in favor of the Heat. Playing an impactful role, Herro dropped 27 points along with nine assists to propel Miami to a victory. Sadly, Herro’s heroics were apparently not met in good spirits by Amen Thompson.
While their nasty on-court altercation created quite a buzz, the Heat star seemed quite nonchalant. On being asked about the incident, Herro responded quite boldly. “Just two competitors going at it, playing basketball…Just a physical game. Guess that’s what happens when someone’s scoring, throwing dimes, doing the whole thing. I’d get mad too,” said Herro.

Things started with just 35 seconds left on the clock. While Miami attempted to inbound the ball, Herro, who was lined up to receive, was being guarded by Thompson. The Rockets star attempted to block Herro by hooking his arm illegally. This was not well received by Herro, and the duo soon started an altercation, clinching each other’s jerseys. However, that was not the end of the story.

In a split second, things escalated as Thompson slammed Herro to the court, much to everyone’s surprise. This was not at all well received by the Heat’s camp, and they soon charged towards Thompson. With the Rockets players also engaging, the entire scenario became a free-for-all fight.

Security officials soon intervened, and by the time everything settled, six people had their names on the eke ejection list. While Herro and Terry Rozier were given the stick, Rockets’ Thompson and Jalen Green were found guilty. Two of the coaches, too, were shown the door as the game came to a chaotic end.
