The Twitterverse is not dumb. And they are even less kind.
The New Orleans Pelicans and their first overall pick were reminded of that fact after the team posted a highlight clip of Zion Williamson throwing down a dunk at practice on Wednesday.
The play by Zion was a nice one, but the clip also had people questioning whether the former Duke star was looking a little hefty. After all, we’re used to seeing Williamson glide through the air, but on this play it looked like he was trying to dunk while wearing a backpack full of cinder blocks.
Too much gumbo, maybe?
