Twitter Goes NUTS Over Sue Bird Making $30M Less Than LeBron Despite Similar Accomplishments (TWEETS)

The never-ending battle of men and women making different money while doing the same thing came to ahead again this week after Sue Bird won yet another WNBA championship.

WNBA’s Erica Wheeler got social media on edge when she posted a graphic showing Bird and LeBron James having similar accomplishments, but vastly different in the money department.

As expected, social media went off:

Sue Bird makes 0.03% of the total WNBA revenue.

Lebron James makes 0.04% of the NBA revenue.

The wage gap is due to the NBA generating $7.4 BILLION in yearly revenue and the WNBA generating $25 MILLION.
