Trae Young was blasted a lot for not being able to put up his huge numbers after the league implemented new rules that stopped players like him and James Harden for seeking out contact to get foul shots.
He has quickly shown that he does not need foul calls to get his points. Young is averaging 26.3 points (fourth in the NBA) and 9.1 assists per game (third in the NBA). No other player ranks in the top-five in both categories.
His father made sure everybody knew how good his son was by roasting his haters on Twitter.
“Since 5th grade I’ve watched my son work his butt off & put up NUMBERS..real NUMBERS Google his year at OU. Now y’all wanna act like it happened because of foul baiting Keep moving the goal post if y’all want to. SKILL will always finish 1st nothing else!”
The Hawks have won 8 of their last 9 games after they toppled the Indiana Pacers 114-11 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.

Young led the way with 33 points and 10 assists.
