Towns’ efforts, combined with veteran guard Jalen Brunson’s 20 points and 11 assists, helped the Knicks control the game. Additional contributions came from Mikal Bridges, who scored 23 points and OG Anunoby added 14 points in the win while Josh Hart scored 10 points.
On the Raptors’ side, RJ Barrett stood out with 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Ja’Kobe Walter scored 19 points while Jakob Poeltl added 14 rebounds and 10 points.
Scottie Barnes contributed 15 points and 5 rebounds before exiting in the third quarter due to a right ankle sprain. Barnes sustained the injury after landing awkwardly on Towns’ foot and was unable to return to the game.
