Jalen Green added 22 points and seven rebounds, continuing to show his scoring prowess. Alperen Sengun recorded a double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks, while Jabari Smith Jr. contributed with 15 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks. Cam Whitmore added 11 points and Amen Thompson scored 10 points in the win.
Ja’Kobe Walter was a bright spot for Toronto, finishing with a career-high 27 points before fouling out. Jamal Shead also had a strong performance, recording 11 points and a career-high 10 assists. Chris Boucher and Ochai Agbaji each added 15 points, while Gradey Dick contributed 14 points and six assists.
However, the Raptors’ struggles on both ends of the floor prevented them from closing out the game, further extending their losing streak. Both teams are back in action Monday. The Houston Rockets will play against the Charlotte Hornets and the Toronto Raptors will head to New York to face the New York Knicks.
