Rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis had no fear when he dealt with one of the best in the world, Giannis Antetokounmpo. He blocked the “Greek Freak” not once but twice. Not only that, he also went to the other end and scored points for his team, the Golden State Warriors.
Both these moments encapsulated the night for the Warriors and the Milwaukee Bucks. Jackson-Davis put on his best performance of the game during the last 5:33 of the third quarter, scoring seven points, getting three rebounds, and blocking three shots. The blocks, two of which were made against Antetokounmpo, had a significant enough effect to swing the game in the Warriors’ favor.
In 19 fantastic minutes off the bench, rookie center Trayce Jackson-Davis had a plus-20 with 15 points scored off the bench. Giannis was stopped cold by a defense led by Jackson-Davis. For the remainder of the game, he scored just four points.

Jackson-Davis is becoming more valuable, and Kerr and his team have seen enough of him to know that this will happen as the minutes accumulate. After missing the first two months of the season due to injury, the youngster has made significant progress and is now a vital member of the team.

Trayce Jacskon-Davis contributed to a comprehensive Golden State victory
There are victories after a setback, and then there’s what the Warriors accomplished on Wednesday at Chase Centre.
The Warriors overcame the Milwaukee Bucks with an astounding 35-point victory, three days after suffering an ugly 52-point defeat at TD Garden to the Boston Celtics.
For the first time in three months, the Warriors’ roster was fully healthy, and they quickly built a 20-point lead against the Bucks at the half. Despite Milwaukee’s best effort in the third quarter, Golden State managed to stave off Milwaukee and win with a commanding 32-9 fourth quarter.
With a game-high 29 points, Steph Curry took the lead, and the victory was sealed with 20 points from Jonathan Kuminga.
The Warriors’ 33-28 victory puts them ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers, who fell to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night and puts them back in ninth place in the Western Conference.
