An interesting NBA trade proposal has the Indiana Pacers acquiring star forward Tobias Harris from the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Pacers are in the market for a forward despite having taken Obi Toppin from the Knicks this offseason. That much is clear given that they’re still heavily linked with Pascal Siakam, but the Toronto Raptors star would command a hefty sum.
It’s why NBAanalysis.net has drawn up a proposal that would see them get Harris at a much cheaper cost.
The deal would require them to send Buddy Heild, Daniel Theis, T.J. McConnell, and a 2026 lottery-protected first-round pick the other way.
The Sixers are now scrambling for a replacement for James Harden as the guard has requested a trade. While they’re hoping to convince him to stay, Harden has his heart set on joining the Los Angeles Clippers.

It would be very difficult to replace a scorer like Harden. While he’s not getting any younger and tends to be less effective during the playoffs, he is still one of the best playmakers in the league.
That Joel Embid has also indicated he might look to get out of Philly is worrying too.
Should they trade Harris to the Pacers, they could be better for it considering that they hardly utilize his ability to create shots as they run the offense through Harden and Embiid. So why not add some needed depth as opposed to keeping him?
