Somebody likely gave up their career for not much money to give TMZ access to the video of the Warriors fighting in practice.
ESPN reported that the Warriors are “aggressively investigating” who leaked the video of Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole at a team practice Wednesday. They are taking “every legal course of action” to find the source, per ESPN.
That spells doom for that person because their job will be gone and they didn’t get much money to make it worth it in the end.
According to Front Office Sports, TMZ paid “less than $10,000” to get that video.

Fights at NBA practices are not horribly uncommon, but this one was different in the fact that a video of the incident was released to the entire world by TMZ on Friday morning.
TMZ has been known to get its hands on quite a few things in the past. A New Yorker article from 2016 uncovered TMZ paid roughly $90,000 for the video of former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice punching his then-fiancée Janay Palmer inside of an elevator, and $80,000 for a video of a 14-year-old Justin Bieber using the N-word.
If this Warriors employee only got $10K, they screwed badly.
